Fossickers Fine Food & Eatery is an espresso, wine bar, store and art space [The Folk Experiment] located in the tiny heritage town of Talbot in the Victorian Goldfields known as Djarra, the unceded lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, whose living culture has endured for thousands of years. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

$95pp for food and music (drinks separate)

Join us for a special banquet of slow cooked meats and delicious accompaniments designed and prepared by chef, Arlo Lawrence of Salis Artisan Foods.

The menu includes beef short ribs, juniper and maple glazed pork belly and hot chicken wings with a trio of salads, corn and cheddar bread, house pickles and our award winning Smoked bourbon bbq sauce. 

Capped off with a slice of apple pie and fresh cream for those who still have room.

The evening will feature the four-piece band, Smith & Holiday presenting the songs of Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday, celebrating International Women’s Day.

Join Mel for a hands-on workshop designed to build creative confidence and explore textile storytelling. Learn the fundamentals of hand-sewn quilted art, from selecting fabric palettes to intuitive composition, simple stitching, and finishing techniques.
